It's cooled down now to 26 degrees but it is 9:30 to be fair. Today is Saturday and we had a one day New York pass to male the most of. We were out of the hotel at 8:30 and are still on the go now. Highlight so far was the circumnavigation of Manhattan which involved going under 20 bridges and some fabulous photo ops. It was good to do it at 4:30 as it gave us a break.
So far by far the best prep I did before I left was download a (free) NYC subway app. It's been just fabulous and helps you plan your route as well. We have made use of taxis a few times as well.
Thanks for the comments. Web access is still a challenge and we start the tour tomorrow so that might make it harder.

ReplyDeleteit's worth trying your wi-fi in random places, we found that you could often get on line for free un unexpected places.
